Department of Microbiology Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission into the first year of the Bachelor’s degree programme, all candidates should have passed five relevant subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings in the General Certificate of Education (GCE), Ordinary Level Examination, Senior Secondary School Certificate awarded by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO), or their equivalents. Furthermore, candidates must obtain an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and is adjudged successful in at the University Screening Test. In the College of Science, the five subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, while in the College of Management Sciences; the five subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, and Economics.
